The ZOLL AED 3 CPR Uni-padz™ (Part No. 8900-000280) are the genuine manufacturer replacement electrodes for the ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator. They are the only electrodes compatible with the AED 3, and they serve a dual purpose that sets the AED 3 apart from other models: one set covers both adult and paediatric patients automatically.
Universal adult and paediatric coverage — one set of pads
The Uni-padz use advanced sensing technology to detect whether the patient is an adult or a child and automatically adjust the AED’s energy delivery accordingly. There is no separate paediatric pad set to purchase, store, or switch to in an emergency. This is a significant operational advantage for schools, sports facilities, and any venue where both adults and children may need treatment.
Real CPR Help® chest sensor
The Uni-padz include an integrated CPR feedback sensor that monitors chest compression depth and rate in real time, providing the rescuer with voice and visual guidance throughout the resuscitation attempt. This technology requires the genuine Uni-padz — it is not available with third-party electrode alternatives.
Software version requirement
The ZOLL AED 3 CPR Uni-padz are designed for use with ZOLL AED 3 devices running v.6 software. If you are unsure of your device’s software version, check the label on the back of your AED 3 unit or contact us before ordering.
5-year shelf life
Each set of Uni-padz has a 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is printed on the packaging. Replace pads before this date as part of your regular AED maintenance programme.
