The outdoor cabinet is locked with a 4-digit pin code that is registered with the national 111 emergency service. You can then register your cabinet with the 111 service so that rescuers can call 111 and state their location, to receive the code.
The cabinet has an alarm which is powered by a 9v battery. No mains power connections are required.
The cabinet should be installed under cover, so that it is not directly exposed to the wind/rain and sun. The cabinet is not rated for protection against salt-spray, so we do not recommend installing it in coastal environments.
